Imam Afroz Ali

 

Imam Afroz Ali is the founder and President of Sydney-based Al-Ghazzali Centre for Islamic Sciences & Human Development. Imam Afroz is trained in both traditional Islamic sciences and Western disciplines. His learning has taken him from traditional Islamic scholarship in Yemen and Mauritania to further studies in Islamic Jurisprudence with scholars at the famous Al-Azhar University in Cairo. Imam Afroz is professionally trained as an architect and has attended motivational and personal development programs with the likes of Anthony Robbins and Steven Covey. He provides fully commercial corporate training on Team Building, Personal Leadership, Change Management, and Corporate Ethics.

 

Further, Imam Afroz utilises his corporate training skills to mentor and train community organisations in Community Sustainability Programs, Personal Leadership and Interpersonal Skills, Spiritual Development, and Motivation and Goal Setting. He is involved in various community development and environment projects in Australia and the Pacific and is a recipient of the International Ambassador for Peace award.
